The Alpine Pick is designed for snow, ice and mixed routes on mountains. All Alpine picks have no spike on top and bottom along the head of the tool, making it far more comfortable and gentle on gloves in walking mode. For extra durability, the Alpine Pick is slightly thicker than the Pure-Ice Pick and All-Ice Pick. The Alpine Pick shares the same shape as the Light Alpine Pick but it's heavier, making it more appropriate for icy mountain routes.
